Frequently asked questions

Do I need the title to remove my car?

Yes. Pennsylvania law requires the vehicle title to junk a car. Have the signed title and a valid photo ID ready when the driver arrives. If your title is lost, apply for a duplicate from PennDOT (Form MV-38O, $72) before booking — title transfers in Pennsylvania also need notarization.

How much does car removal cost?

Does the vehicle need to run?

No. Non-running vehicles are fine. Tell us in the Notes field whether it runs and whether it rolls and steers, so the driver brings the right equipment.

What if the car has no wheels or is missing parts?

Tell us in the Notes field. Vehicles missing wheels, the battery or the catalytic converter may need a different price — we will confirm before you book.

What happens to the vehicle after pickup?

It goes to a licensed salvage and recycling facility. Usable parts are recovered, fluids are drained and handled per Pennsylvania DEP guidance, and the remaining metal is recycled.

Do you remove vehicles in South Jersey and Delaware?

What should I do with the license plate?

Remove the plate before the driver arrives. You can transfer it to another vehicle or return it to PennDOT, and remember to cancel the insurance on the vehicle after pickup.
