Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
1. Introduction
DumpGo Inc. (“DumpGo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides junk removal and hauling services through the DumpGo website, the DumpGo Driver mobile application, and related customer, driver, and administrative services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to customers, visitors, and drivers. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Services and may include:
- Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, account identifier, password in protected form, and communications with DumpGo.
- Service and order information, such as pickup address, requested date and time, item descriptions, photos, quote details, order status, service history, and instructions provided to customers, drivers, or dispatch.
- Driver and vehicle information, such as vehicle make, model, year, color, license plate, driver eligibility status, and documents you submit for identity, tax, licensing, insurance, vehicle, or compliance verification.
- Location information. With permission, the Driver app collects precise location while the app is in use to show the driver on a map, display nearby or available jobs, calculate distance, and support pickup operations. DumpGo does not use the Driver app to collect precise location when the app is closed.
- Photos, videos, and files, including profile photos, verification documents, and photos or other media uploaded as proof that a service was completed.
- Payment and payout information. Customer payments and driver payouts are processed with payment providers such as Stripe. Those providers may collect payment card, bank account, identity, tax, and transaction information under their own privacy policies. DumpGo receives transaction details and limited payment or payout account status needed to operate the Services, but does not store complete payment card numbers.
- Device and app information, such as device or push-notification identifiers, operating system, IP address, browser type, app version, notification preferences, and technical logs generated when you use the Services.
- Website information collected through cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the website, remember preferences, protect sessions, and understand service performance.
3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, request a quote, place an order, upload documents or photos, contact us, or use the Driver app. We also collect information automatically from your browser, device, and use of the Services.
We may receive information from customers, drivers, payment processors, mapping and address providers, identity or compliance providers, and other service providers involved in fulfilling an order or operating the Services.
4. How we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Provide quotes, schedule and complete pickups, assign drivers, display routes and available jobs, and maintain order history.
- Create and manage customer, driver, and administrator accounts.
- Verify driver identity, documents, vehicles, eligibility, and compliance.
- Process customer payments, calculate driver earnings, facilitate payouts, refunds, fees, and transaction records.
- Send transactional messages and push notifications about accounts, orders, assignments, documents, payments, and support requests.
- Provide customer and driver support and respond to privacy requests.
- Secure the Services, authenticate users, prevent fraud and misuse, investigate incidents, and enforce our agreements.
- Debug, maintain, analyze, and improve the reliability and performance of the Services.
- Comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, insurance, and dispute-resolution obligations.
6. Sale of personal information and advertising
DumpGo does not sell personal information for money. The DumpGo Driver app does not contain third-party advertising and we do not use Driver app information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Mobile app permissions
The Driver app may request permission to access location, photos or files, and notifications. Location is used while the app is in use for maps, job availability, distance, and pickup operations. Photo or file access is used only when you choose content to upload. Notifications are used for operational alerts such as new jobs, order updates, and account or document status.
You can change these permissions in your device settings. Some app features may not work correctly if a necessary permission is disabled.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with tax, payment, insurance, safety, and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and applicable obligations.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten or deleted through our normal backup cycle.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
To submit a privacy request, including a request to delete your DumpGo or DumpGo Driver account and associated data, use our account deletion page.
We may retain information that we are legally required or permitted to keep, including records needed for payments, taxes, fraud prevention, safety, legal claims, and regulatory compliance. We will explain any applicable limitation when responding to a request.
You can opt out of non-essential communications by following the instructions in the message. Transactional or service-related communications may continue while your account or an active order remains open.
11. SMS messaging and consent
If you provide a mobile phone number and separately opt in to receive text messages, DumpGo may send customer care SMS messages related to your inquiry, quote, scheduling, pickup updates, payment-related service notifications, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers only as necessary to deliver and support the messaging service.
12. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and the Driver app is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
13. Third-party services and links
The Services may connect to third-party websites or services, including Stripe and mapping providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information directly to a third party.
14. Processing in the United States
DumpGo operates in the United States. If you access the Services from another location, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our Services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice.
